Windham Wicks is proud to create all of our products in South Carolina, USA. We make every effort to source all of our manufactured supplies and ingredients we use to create our products from businesses operating in the USA.

All of the fragrance oils we use to scent Windham Wicks products are are considered “clean” by our suppliers and you can use them without concern knowing they are non-toxic, phthalate-free and exceed the highest standards in fragrance oils and aroma therapy. We strive to use scents that are not only healthy to breathe in, but free from carcinogens, mutagens, reproductive toxins, organ toxins, and acute toxins. Windham Wicks takes this very seriously and is proud to be able to educate consumers on the importance of burning “clean” candles in their home. We encourage you to research the risks of burning candles that don’t have high quality ingredients and how they could affect your health, so that you can confidently use and enjoy the candles Windham Wicks offer that do not come with these concerns or risks. Educating about burning safe clean candles has become a passion of ours as we have researched and learned along our candle making journey.

Did you know all of Windham Wicks scents are created by custom blending two or more high-quality and clean fragrance oils, to make a unique and special scent you cannot find anywhere else? Our process of selecting, sampling, mixing, testing, and pouring our custom blended scents are not only done to our personal scent preferences and popular scent profiles available, but also through customer feedback, requests, and ongoing research we do to find current seasonal and upcoming trends. The custom fragrance blends we create keep our customers coming back for their favorite scent or to try new scents we release because they are confident in our process and look forward to what we will create next. We strive to create scents that evoke feelings or memories that seem familiar yet different from any one scent they’ve experienced before. Windham Wicks is excited to now offer hand-made, high-quality, and thoroughly tested concrete candle vessels to customers. We have found it to be very rewarding to create every single part of the Windham Wicks concrete candle in-house starting with the concrete vessel itself ending with a final candle product that uses all ingredients grown, manufactured, and sourced in the USA. Not only do we hand pour every vessel; we design, create, unmold, sand, seal, and prep each concrete piece to pour our plant based 100% soy wax and crackling wooden wick candle. To stay true to our commitment to provide an eco-friendly, superb quality candle: the concrete mix is made in America, the pigments used to color is natural oxide and of the highest quality, the sealer is safe non-toxic with no VOC and water-based so that it performs perfectly to prevent wax and oils from leaching out while preventing toxic fumes from being released as other sealers could do, and the vessel itself can be washed out with warm water and mild soap to reuse in many ways! The possibilities are endless with the shapes, colors, and size to fit into any home décor style! Windham Wicks is proud to use 100% soy wax sourced from an American company that specializes in only producing soy wax options that benefits both maker and end-user, from cleaner burns to scent distribution. Soy wax is safe to handle and burn, ethically produced, and paraffin-free. Best of all, the soy wax we have chosen out of the many available on the market, is uniquely made to melt uniformly, to retain and distribute the scent for long periods of time.

Soy is Renewable and Sustainable

Whether you love to live a sustainable, eco-friendly lifestyle, want to be sure the products you use don’t harm others, or you simply want a more natural product in your home, soy wax fits the bill. Soy is made from plants and is, therefore, a renewable natural resource.

Clean, Long Lasting Burns

Soy wax candles last longer than conventional paraffin wax candles. Because it burns at a lower temperature, the amount of heat required for a flame to stay lit is reduced, which also reduces the amount of wax required to fuel the wick, which will give a cleaner, longer burn.

Soy wax can be easily cleaned up with water and soap. This is important for the products we offer and you as a consumer so that you can easily clean and reuse our candle vessels for other purposed when your candle is done burning.

Using Soy wax is responsible

No other available candle wax contributes to our US economy the way that soy wax does. Soybeans are grown on American soil by American farmers. The soybeans are then transported to local elevators where they are loaded on a rail car to processing facilities where the soy wax is produced. The wax is delivered to countless candle makers and entrepreneurs, who make the world’s cleanest-burning candles. These candles are sold by store-owners, bought by consumers, and burned to create incredible fragrance experiences world-wide.

Because soybeans are a renewable resource, this process continues year-after-year without depleting our supply of natural resources.

They are made from only 100% Natural wood from Sappy Fruit Trees sustainably sourced in the USA. Our adhered wicks are created using a vegan, non-toxic proprietary adhesive with wood species not listed in the CITED appendices or on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. They are not treated.
