CANDLE CARE

  • Keep lid on when not in use. This preserves your candle and prevents dust or other flammable debris from getting into the candle.

  • Keep wick trimmed to 1/4 inch. This prevents the candle from burning improperly.

ALWAYS trim your wooden or cotton wick before candle is lit, to avoid any soot or tall flames. You can do this by pinching off charred wood pieces before each burn or using a wick trimmer. If the flame seems high or the container is too hot while burning, simply extinguish the flame, let it cool down, trim the wick and relight!

  • Let wax melt the entire surface until melt pool reaches the edge of the jar for the first burn and each time thereafter. This prevents tunneling and waste of wax. Burn candle NO MORE than 4 hours at a time and DO NOT burn candle with less than a 1/2 inch of wax remaining.

If you do experience tunneling due to error in burning, contact Windham Wicks so we can try and help you troubleshoot to continue to enjoy the rest of your candle. We are always happy to help.

  • NEVER leave a burning candle unattended. ALWAYS burn candle within sight.

KEEP away from children, pets, and flammable objects.

MOVE candle away from fans, open windows, hot surfaces, curtains or fabrics.

FOLLOW safety recommendations to enjoy your candle.

WINDHAM WICKS is not responsible for damage due to careless misuse.
