FAQs

  • To refill/reuse your vessel burn your candle until you get down to the wick clip or when there is approximately a 1/2 inch of wax left in the bottom. Allow the candle to completely cool and the leftover wax to harden. To clean your vessel, follow the directions below.

    1) Pour hot water into the vessel until the wax in the bottom releases or dissolves.

    2) Wipe out with a paper towel to remove the wax lifted (DO NOT PUT WAX DOWN DRAINS!)

    3) Using your fingers or plyers, remove the wick, wick clip, and any residue from the adhesive.

    4) Next, use dish soap and warm water to wash the vessel thoroughly. It is really quick and easy.

    5) Last… pour your refill kit or reuse it!

  • If you notice a tiny bit of leftover wax stuck on the upper sides of the candle, this will eventually melt completely down from the heat of the candle as you burn it down. We have extensively tested our wicks and wax in each vessel and they are made to leave little to no wax as it burns down.

If you have a significant amount of wax bordering your melt pool- creating a vertical tunnel, this is called tunneling and is a result of an improper first burn of the new candle. In our “Candle Care” instructions, we recommend for you to allow your candle to create a full melt pool on your first burn. That means there should be melted wax all the way across the top of your candle. Since candles have melting memory, the initial melt determines how your candle will melt down as you burn it each new time it’s lit for the life of the candle. Unfortunately, you will not be able to fix this after your first burn unless you can scrape down the leftover wax to make it level again, but you will know for the care and burning of future candles.

  • This is from an untrimmed wick. Keeping your wick trimmed prevents soot. To fix this just wipe it off and keep the wick trimmed. See the “Candle Care” section for more instructions on how to have the perfect burning candle!

  • The samples will allow customers and potential retailers (upon request) to experience each our different scents that are available to purchase in our candles, squeezable wax melts, room sprays, etc. You can use them as a skin balm (CHECK FOR SENSITIVITIES) because it is skin safe. Replace the lid after using. Do not allow sample and its container to exceed 75 degrees due to it being a softer wax and lower melting point. Do not allow to come in contact or use on fabrics.

    * Do NOT leave unattended with children or pets.

**Samples are NOT for consumption or use on or around lips, eyes, inside of nose, or internally

  • Don’t fret it’s normal! These are completely handmade concrete vessels with natural characteristics. The holes are from little air bubbles that made it to the surface while the concrete was curing. Each vessel has been thoroughly inspected to ensure its quality. The concrete has been sealed multiple times with a non-toxic sealer that is safe to burn a candle in. The melted wax will not come through the sides of the concrete. We never sell our concrete vessels if they do not meet our quality control and standards. We check every single one for defects. Please contact us with concerns or questions.
